Is my insulation contaminated with asbestos?

A common insulator, vermiculite was used in many homes and offices. Until proven otherwise it’s safest to assume your vermiculite is contaminated with asbestos. In our experience we estimate that almost 90% of the vermiculite used in the Kootenays contains asbestos.
